Mr. Adam Carrillo

About Me

Growing up in Orange County, CA, I was fortunate to learn from teachers who not only inspired their students but also prepared them to lead impactful lives. Their influence sparked my own interest in becoming a teacher and building that same classroom environment. Committed to a career in high school education, I received a degree in Applied Mathematics from San Diego State University, followed by a Master of Education from UCLA. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching sports, spending time outdoors, and mentoring college students. I am now proud to be in my third year as a member of the Raven family at Canyon Crest Academy!

One piece of advice I like to give my students is to find and get involved in school activities that they enjoy, and to stay involved in those activities for multiple years. When I was in high school, I became involved with the Associated Student Body and played trombone in the school marching band. (I even continued playing in the marching bands at SDSU and UCLA!) It is from these extracurricular activities where I made my closest friends and the fondest memories.
